The Perch Creek Family Jugband Australia



The Perch Creek Family Jugband are a band of siblings from Australia who play (and sing) a blend of jug band jazz, folk, blues, bluegrass and original songs on an assortment of old instruments including: banjo, washboard, jug, double bass, melodica, harmonicas, saw, trombone, kazoo, ukulele, guitar and tap dancing.

I grew up with both my mum and dad, yet neither of them could sing a note – so I don't know where I got the music gene from. I grew up in South Manchester. I am half Moroccan, quarter English and quarter Irish – which is quite a mix – and I feel so lucky to be of mixed culture origin
